The School Supplies

Those who write remain.

In Germany, it is a matter of course for every student to receive books and notebooks for every subject. Many schools are also equipped with computers and smartboards. Everyone has the materials they need to learn to write, read, and draw. Schools in Madagascar are in stark contrast to the European school system. Classes consist of up to 60 children, and there are no blackboards, benches, or chairs. Some schools do not even have walls. Very few have books and work materials. It is simply not possible for the children to learn in a sustainable way. It is financially impossible to support the children's school careers. As a result, many children are forced to drop out of school. The children of Madagascar represent the future of the country, but they are caught in a spiral of poverty. In order to help Madagascar in the long term, children must be given access to various materials in schools. With our school supplies project, we finance notebooks, pens, glue, books, bags, and much more for the children. The children are happy about every material they receive. With monetary and material donations, we can give schools in Madagascar access to materials and thus help the children in the long term.
